MPA Choral Festival1/4/2016 We are currently preparing for our annual performance at the MPA Choral Festival. This serves as our program's "EOG" test, rating our groups based on their performance of two prepared pieces and their ability to sightread a short line of music.
Our performance is March 18 at Jack Britt High School. Performance times are not yet scheduled, and may shift. Seven and eighth graders will perform in the morning; sixth graders will perform in the afternoon. I will send them home in a letter closer to our performance date. The field trip fee is $10, and is due by February 26. The fee helps cover our registration, bus, bus driver, and substitute. Students will also need to bring their own money as we will stop to eat at a fast food restaurant. We will need plenty of chaperones - one adult per ten children. If you'd be willing to help, please contact me. Chaperones must be screened by the school system first by registering at CCSVolunteers.com.
