Winter Concert Details
Our winter performance will be held Monday, December 16 at 6:30 PM in our gymnasium. Our students have been working diligently; I’m sure that you will be pleased with what you hear! We request a $2 donation per person at the door. This helps us pay for uniforms, audio equipment, and new music. Remember that concert participation is a large part of your student’s grade!
Sixth grade students are to arrive in the chorus room by 6:05 to warm up. Seventh and eighth grade students should report directly to their assigned room by 6:10. All students should be dressed in their chorus attire (bow-tie in place!) upon arrival and should report directly to their assigned area. Students are not to gather or wander the halls. Teachers will be supervising and lining up these students; they are expected to be on their best behavior.
I have been discussing proper concert etiquette with students all year. We hope you will help us as well by keeping all talking, noise, and movement to a minimum throughout our performance. If necessary, please enter and/or exit between songs – not during.
Students should stay for the entire program. We will be finished with both groups before 7:30 PM. It is important that the younger students see the older choir perform, and many students will be recognized. It will inspire your younger student!
Thanks so much for allowing your child to experience music here at Mac Williams. I look forward to sharing the excitement with you!
